4. Payment Terms

4.1 Subscription Pricing

Kindred offers a subscription-based service for access to premium features. The current subscription price is $9.00 USD per month. This price is subject to change at any time with 30 days' notice. Changes to pricing will not affect your current billing cycle but will apply to your next renewal period.

4.2 Billing and Renewal

By initiating a subscription to Kindred, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a monthly recurring basis. Your subscription will automatically renew each month on the anniversary of your initial payment date unless you cancel your subscription. You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid and current.

If your payment fails, your account access may be suspended until payment is successfully processed. Kindred may attempt to collect payment multiple times before suspension occurs.

4.3 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Cancellation requests must be submitted before the renewal date to prevent charges for the next billing cycle. Upon cancellation, your access to the Service will continue through the end of your paid billing period. No refunds will be issued for the unused portion of a billing cycle.

Kindred reserves the right to terminate or modify the Service at any time, with 30 days' notice to affected users. In the event of Service termination initiated by Kindred, eligible users will receive a prorated refund based on their remaining subscription period.

4.4 Refund Policy

Kindred offers the following refund policy:

• Full refunds are available for requests submitted within 7 days of initial purchase or subscription activation
• Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made after the 7-day period, except in cases of technical failures or Service unavailability lasting more than 48 consecutive hours
• Refunds for technical issues or outages will be calculated on a pro-rata basis for the period of unavailability
• Users who receive refunds may be prohibited from resubscribing for 30 days
• All refund requests must be submitted with reasonable documentation of the issue claimed

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of approval. Kindred is not responsible for delays in refund processing by financial institutions.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, designs, functionality, and intellectual property contained within the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, code, and software, are the exclusive property of Kindred or its content partners and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Service or its content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the source code or underlying mechanisms
• Distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Service or any of its components

User-generated content submitted to Kindred remains the property of the user, but by submitting such content, you grant Kindred a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute such content within the Service.
